Interior Design Education Question?

by admin on July 5, 2009

If you took Alegbra 1 in your freshmen year and in your senior year took trigometry instead of calculus, will I still be able to get into an interior design school with my lacking calculus class?? Please answer, thanks.

It depends on the school. Although I never took calculus. I got as far as Trig in college. I will graduate from the Art Institute of Pittsburg next year with my bachelors of science in interior design…never having taken calculus. You should have no problem getting in. If the school you choose really does want it, you can always take it through them.

Depends on the school. Check with the School you are planning to attend. They should be able to help you out. All the very best!

It honestly depends on the prequisites of the school you choose to get your education from. Many ID schools do not require calculus, while some do and will require you to take the class 1st semester if you do not already have that credit. Before signing up for a school, you should ask the admissions person about their prerequisites and this could be one of those questions.
