preperation? btw, i haven’t taken any art classes. what should i do? If i want to go to a design school, am i going to have to turn in an art portfolio (for interior designing)?

I Am Going To Be A Senior In Highschool, And Wants To Major In Interior Design, What Should I Do As?
i really love interior design & visual arts & photography, but i just don’t want to settle in one thing.
i think i would really love the environvent of working for a magazine.
i would want to in the END be an art director or a creative director or the magazine, and go to the homes that are being featured in the magazine and over see the photoshoots etc.
should i major in interior design? photography? visual art for advertising?
